Efforts Related to Environmental Issues
Reducing Environmental Impact in Business Activities
Our group is actively promoting energy-efficient equipment and utilities at key locations, including the Ikejiri headquarters, the Suwa plant, and overseas sales companies. Additionally, we are working on transitioning to CO2-free power sources and environmentally-friendly vehicles.
Providing products that reduce the burden on the environment
Our group is focusing on the development of environmentally-friendly inkjet printers, the introduction of eco-friendly inks, green procurement, and revising product and packaging designs to reduce and reuse materials.
Waste reduction and the promotion of recycling
Our group is committed to reducing waste and promoting recycling through the disclosure of material information. As part of our initiatives, we aim to achieve a 100% domestic recycling rate for plastic waste by the fiscal year ending March 2031.
Contributing to the realization of a mercury-free society
Our group has launched applied optics business driven by UV-LED irradiators. These devices offer a wide range of functions, including curing, drying of ink and coatings, as well as sterilization. As mercury-free products are in demand, we will contribute to the realization of a mercury-free society by replacing mercury lamp light sources that have been used in various fields to UV-LED light sources.
